2020 DODGE JOURNEY- ORLANDO, FL
The rearview camera on my 2020 Dodge Journey failed and stopped displaying a proper image. To restore safety, I purchased and installed a new aftermarket rearview camera. Recently, FCA/Stellantis announced recall 59C (NHTSA 25V-552) for this exact issue. My vehicle is affected, but I was informed by Dodge that no official remedy is currently available. This situation is preventing me from fully using my vehicle. The car is part of my car-sharing operation and was delisted from the Turo platform because of the open safety recall on the rearview camera. I am requesting that FCA/Stellantis provide an immediate remedy or allow an inspection to confirm that my rearview camera is functioning properly, so that I can safely return the vehicle to service.

2014 DODGE CHARGER- Billings, MT
Alternator and battery have now had to be replaced three times within the past year. It appears to be the same issues, other Dodge chargers with a recall having. However, this VIN number is not on that recall list.

I just had gotten my 2025 Dayton R/T EV and i was on the highway in my first drive…. Enjoying the hell out of my experience. I had driven abt 12 miles. Even got a powershot in when i had a free right away in the highway and man… ?????? im so saddend to share that a car got over on my car and completely swiped the right side, then got over in front of me and slammed on their brakes…. All at 65 mph. Man… my car’s sensors didnt help at all and my airbags didnt deploy. My sensors never detected the car on the right getting close or that it slammed on brakes…. All my sensors are still green in the car, but my abs and other lights are on. Airbags didnt deploy crashing st 65 mph snd I stopped breathing for a few minutes the other driver snd passengers said. All I saw was the csr slam on brakes and then I woke up with 5 cops and 2 ems bombarding me with questions I had no clue to answer as my head was dizzy. Once I got to my senses they asked why my air bags didnt deploy and if it was a 2025 ev how did i get brake checked with security sensors and regen brakes. And I cant answer that only dodge can… ?? man im devesated. 2013 DODGE JOURNEY- Long Beach, CA
On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at approximately 1:30 PM, the driver’s side headrest, part of my 2013 Dodge Journey’s AHR (Active Head Restraint) system suddenly exploded for no apparent reason. I was alone in the vehicle, waiting to make a left turn. The sudden loud, sharp sound and impact to the back of my head startled and stunned me; I felt as if I had been rear ended. I looked back but there was no one behind me. Not knowing what had happened, I felt scared and light headed. I was still able to complete my turn but I pulled over to compose myself and ensure that I was okay. I didn’t become aware of the failure of the headrest until I returned home and my husband inspected the vehicle. As I write this incident report 24 hours after it occurred, I am experiencing soreness and discomfort in my neck and plan to seek a medical assessment. The vehicle is available for inspection until repairs are made. The manufacturer acknowledges that the sudden failure of this component is a defect for this vehicle but as yet it has not been the subject of a recall. No inspection of the head rest component by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others. There were no warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure.

2025 DODGE CHARGER EV- Deltona, FL
The contact owns a 2025 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that the instrument cluster became inoperable while driving at an undisclosed speed at night. The contact pulled over, turned off, and restarted the vehicle, but the failure persisted. The contact stated that the instrument cluster became operable after recharging the vehicle at the residence. Additionally, the contact stated that the windows only rolled down or rolled up halfway, and the driver's side door had failed to latch securely. The door opened unintentionally after being closed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was serviced; however, the dealer was unable to correct the window failure because a fix was not available. Additionally, the contact stated that while assisting his son out of the vehicle through the driver's side door, the contact moved the front driver's side seat forward; however, the seat unexpectedly moved back, causing the torso of the contact's son to be trapped between the door and the seat. There was no injury sustained. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and the contact was informed that the vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where Dodge technicians inspected the vehicle and informed the contact that there was no fix for the failure. The contact stated that the front passenger's side seat also started to experience the failure. The vehicle was taken to the dealer several times, but the vehicle could not be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that buyback assistance would be provided after the contact had paid an amount to compensate for the negative equity of the vehicle. The contact declined because he had purchased an unsafe vehicle. The failure mileage was approximately 300.

2019 DODGE DURANGO- New Haven, MI
Electronic power steering locks the wheel while turning. Have to use excessive force to get it out of the stuck position. I have went through several forums trying to figure out why this happens there are many other customers experiencing the same problem. There is no power steering pump to replace so this could be an absolute danger to anyone driving a Durango with this problem or others around them.
